I would be interested to know if I can deposit monies in S'pore on a tax free basis and withdraw funds from time to time for yearly expenses ( once or twice a year only) to my Jersey bank from which I would forward an amount to my Portuguese bank whilst still living in Portugal ( 8 years residence) and without the knowledge of the European Tax Directive---in other words do you have to inform the ''Directive'' if any European resident invests certain monies with you and would you be obliged to inform the Portuguese authorities of any investment .
